who tried to do her job and got fired for doing it. That's ok, she served at the discretion of the President and he was free to make a change, but the attempts to taint her are just crap. She saw an issue, she took it to the President (despite being a Dem - she did her job professionally). He chose to ignore her concerns/advice - his prerogative. But now, instead of owning up to it, or for folks to admit that he didn't think it was as big an issue as she did, it's easier to smear her. Even in her testimony, she was very professional. It's the media and internet types who are speculating about her "motives" when it appears that all she did was her job.
