2. The insurance company can charge you based on risk
If you are a couple that makes $50k/yr, the wife gets pregnant, they do a test to find out your kid has Down's Syndrome, you must have that baby, and it will cost you 2-3x in higher insurance premiums..right?
So we now lead this couple into bankruptcy.
