GOP was in desperate straits to pass something, just pass SOMETHING. And they did. Thing is mostly a POS and will never see the light of law.
But Yahoo they got something passed. Maybe sometime in the coming weeks they might actually look at it. ALL the mileage the Right got out of Nancy's silly comment about and passing it to read it - well now, spotlight is on y'all. Have fun with that.
