On this matter I tend to agree, although not for the reason you have stated. Most States send several million dollars (mostly legal fees) in the process of executing convicted murders. The majority of these individuals may be incarcerated for the remainder of their life for much less than $1 million. It is a better deal for we the people (tax payers)!
