during the Stull era, I believe. Saw it, didn't do it. He wasn't injured, so it was funny.

I believe the whisky bottle stories are hoaxes. Seeing the bathrooms full of empty bottles likely put the thought in the visitors' collective heads. This is probably why every ksu fan claims to have been hit by a whisky bottle at Memorial Stadium. Closer to reality is 1 member of ku's band got hit, but ksu is so starved for someone to care that they hijacked the story.
