Not feasible.... there is a need for taxes.

However, if EVERYONE actually had to pay taxes, there would be immense pressure on Congress to lower spending and thus, taxes.....

As it works now, nearly half of wage earners pay nothing in taxes and get the services for 'free'. Why would they care if spending is out of control? They are not affected.
