Scott, an Illinois State grad who grew up watching Michael Jordan stick his tongue out, joined USA TODAY Sports after stints with The Washington Examiner and SLAM. He's an avid marathon runner with an embarrassing addiction to boyband music.

Maybe he's right, maybe he's wrong. Will be interesting to see how it shakes out.
