...something I didn't before in the context of the Porters themselves. We know that these are extremely religious, sincere people. For McGrath to throw in lines like "miracle worker", "ceremonial washing of his feet", "Annointed One" and "my thoughts and prayers are with you", it shows even further what a small, intolerant person he is to mock religion (and presumably their faith) by using it against them for snark.
So actually, John, I'm sure it's the Porters who are praying for you.
