and this just came up by chance.

The proof was already out there when transcripts of Flynn's conversations were released. Once they realized he was an American they were supposed to clear any identifying information from the file. That obviously did not happen. That was proof that Trump's people were being illegally monitored.

The question was never 'did this happen?' but instead 'to what extent did it happen?' and 'who knew it was happening?'.
