I make money TODAY on your precious little land and water. I need no future for the land and water. My money is today. And THIS is class one on expediting an Empire's Fall.
The Iroquois Confederacy of six nations (including the Mohawk and the Seneca) covering much of Upstate New York and surrounding areas - 250 miles long - lasted about 300 years - up until the American Revolutionary War. They based their Constitution, their way of life on the Peaceful Teacher's words - essentially laying out that one's own self-interest never takes priority over the good of the whole. Ben Franklin used the Iroquois Council as a model for the US colonies and invited leaders from that Confederacy to sit upstairs in Convention Hall in Philly while discussions out of which would come the US Constitution continued below. The Confederacy woould back the wrong horse in the war and were diminished beyond measure - though descendants TODAY survive. The nations were led by the women who from each major clan would choose a male chief as their representative. The choice was by volition and not conquest. Oh what we might learn.
