I dont think we can count his midwest ties as a pro. If he were going to recruit the Midwest well it would have shown already. I also cant give him credit for 7 of 9 in the postseason. Anything other than an NCAA bid is a bad year. Martin is an average coach at best. In todays NCAA an average team should make the NCAA Tournament. There in lies my problem with Martin, 7 of his 9 years as a D1 HC he has had below average teams.
