Big fat no on:
Wojciechowski. Took over after Williams did great there, been pretty meh so far. No one thinks he's a better coach than Martin right now. Needs more time.
McDermott. It's not 2013 anymore. No.
Gottfried. Hahahahahahahaha
Jankovich. He's won with Brown's team. Hasn't done anything on his own yet. Has NCAA baggage.
Randy Bennett. Hasn't done anything at a power conference school. Doesn't dominate that crappy conference as much as he should.
Dan Muller. Done nothing at a power conference as a head coach. Could be the next John Groce. Martin won't be that. Worst case scenario he wins over 20 games every year. Muller could easily be the next Groce.
Dan Hurley. The guy has had two good years in the A-10 out of 5. That's not enough.
Kevin Willard. 7 years at Seton Hall, 2 years above .500 in conference. Not good enough.
Kermit Davis. I like him. He hasn't done anything in a major conference. And it took him a long time to really figure things out at MTSU. I don't want to wait that long for him to figure out the SEC. Martin turns things around quick.
Matt McCall. Absolutely not. Took over Wade's team. He won with that team in year 1 In year 2 they already regressed. That's all he's done. Not even close to Martin.

These aren't candidates. They aren't leaving. They're not in play.
