I have wondered the same but never articulated it.

It turns i think first, on what is a religion.

If someone worships kangaroo poop and demands the right to smear it on themselves twice a day at work or at school, and the government must pay to have kangaroo poop flown in from australia....is mocking them religious bigotry?

I think not. Rachael Doleful can call herself black. She is not.
Bruce jenner can call himself a woman. He is not.
Worshiping kangaroo poop or mother earth or the moon, are not religions. We needn't pretend they are.

Secondly, if you dislike any religion are you a religious bigot?

Since i don't like the muzz, am i as bigoted as someone who does not like jews or christians?

I submit that a religious bigot is someone who does not like a religion that is different from theirs (even if theirs is atheism). A christian who does not like jews because they smell bad, have big noses and cheat people, or whatever, essentially imo, doesn't like them because they are different.

That is not ok, imo.

However, my antipathy for the muzz is not because they are different, it's because of what they believe. The caliphate thing, the jihad thing. The kill americans thing. I do not dislike them because they are different, i dislike them because they want to kill me and rule the world.

I do not think we are required to love all religions, or pretend to as the libs do, in order to not be a religious bigot.
