hire 3 years ago when he still had 10-11 good years left, but I'd still rather hire him over someone like Tom Crean.
Howland is a better recruiter, better teacher/coach, and has greater upside. I think he still has 7-8 good years left — call him up if you miss out on Musselman, Holtmann, Cronin, Wade, Wojo, Keatts, and Cuonzo.
