Quelling the skeptics this year

This year is critical for Odom. Too many comparisons are being made between he and Kim Anderson. Last year's football team was almost unwatchable at times. We thought we were getting a great football mind and a tremendous defensive coach and yet the defense was a failure, the team was dysfunctional, and Odom's sideline coaching was suspect most of the year. We thought we were getting a high end recruiter; yet Odom's recruiting has been a disappointment on many levels. It's not too late to bring this team out of the same death spiral our basketball team went through, but two years at the bottom of the conference and he's done. No more throwing away winnable games like Georgia. No more starting players game after game that aren't getting the job done (i.e., place kickers, RB's). I was at a gathering of relatives, all huge Mizzou fans this past weekend and the conversation wasn't about Kim Anderson; it was all about their doubts about Odom. I believe Odom will turn it around, but I was surprised I was the only one in the room that thought so ..
