UT and Cal (class rankings year by year) and they are nothing special. He was able to land a few 5-star recruits, but all of his other recruits have been pretty average. He probably has recruiting TALENT, but I'm not sure his recruiting WORK ETHIC is there.
With that said, I think he would be a decent hire for MU or UI, if you're looking for consistency, but his ceiling is low and it would definitely NOT be a "home run" for either school.
