The police are adapting to social media. Rather than sit on the video as evidence and wait for the DA to review each piece of evidence before they decided to release the video to the media, they fast-tracked the entire case in order to combat the misinformation/disinformation of social media.

He didn't have his hands up saying "don't shoot". He didn't have a turkey sandwich. He didn't have a wallet in his hand and the police didn't plant the gun after he was shot.

Figure it out.
