Navy doesn't recruit the same way regular schools do.
Frank didn't need another recruiter, he needed a tactician and a teacher to help him.
Lots of guys left the program that year, but none of them account for the complete change in what we were attempting to do on the court. Hell, even Fuller put together a decent offensive attack during Haith's suspension and Frank ditched it as soon as he came back.
If you're going to argue that Isaac Chew made a difference in the strategy of the program we might as well go to bed.
Here is the list of guys who left that year that mattered in any way whatsoever. English, Dixon, Denmon, Nestor.
We added Bell, Bowers, Brown, Ross, Oriakhi. The change in talent does not justify the drop in performance and it has nothing to do with the change of system.
