that he cannot win at a high level even with top talent.

He will get Porter for one season and probably reach the NCAA tournament but lose in the 1st or 2nd round.

Look at what LSU did with Ben Simmons - nothing.

Then, with a recent NCAA tournament appearance, it will be difficult for UW to fire him right away after Porter is gone and they return to mediocrity. They would have to wait 2-3 more years to justify it.

It's not the right move for their program.
