equal. nobody has the same resources, circumstances, abilities, upbringing, education, talent, opportunities, and on and on and on. to pretend that anyone is equal is incredibly naive.

that's why i cringe anytime anyone mentions "unequal pay for the same job" or pay gaps.

john calapari and kim anderson do the exact same job. tom brady and jay cutler do the exact same job. mary in accounting and bob in accounting do the exact same job. but some people are a lot more valuable than others, and can demand higher pay because of it.
