We can raise 150-200 million for stadium expansion, why can't we raise and create a similar account from donated money on a secure no risk investment that would grow and use the donation and growth or interest of that account to create the highest paid coach in the country using normal salary for a coach from the University and a large sum of money from this account yearly on top of that to insure we can afford to pay for the highest quality coach or coaches possible. Sundvold's a business guy, put him on it. I am not a business guy but some type of built up raised and donated slush fund is the only way I see us attracting a high profile or can't miss coach without putting a financial burden on the University. I don't want this crap that "we don't have the money!" To hire the coach we need to fix this program, I want to create a "no excuses" scenario to hire the highest quality coach we can. Donating money to this type of thing in the end will pay off as much as anything else we can do, and put butts in the seats. If we aren't proactive on this one, we are continuing to spin our wheels into oblivion. It's a good job, the last four coaches made it to the elite 8 for god sakes. And for god sakes don't hire a search firm pimping people from their own lists trying to insure highest career advancements possible. Am I off in my thinking.
