should be willing to do that. It depends on the coach and how much of a sure thing they are. For example, Gregg Marshall has proven that he can win at a high level consistently. If we can get him, then we should pay whatever he wants.
Cuonzo Martin is another example, I think we should be willing to offer him UP TO $3.5M guaranteed, depending on how negotiations go. He has proven to be a good coach, and an elite recruiter. He's also a younger guy.
Time to invest the money we have and think big, for a change.
