who were very motivated.

One started business classes at UMSL, got a job at UMPD. Continued there and eventually got his degree. He worked with the other guy in the CAD-Records area, which kept them off the street. He got recruited to go to work for CPD and update their CAD-Records system, did that, and wrote his own ticket into investigations. Retired from CPD and is now a Chief at another department.

The guy he worked with at UMPD got recruited to go to work for the software company helping them tailor the CAD/REcords software for particular agencies. His ticket out of police work. Another guy was also hired away to be a trainer for them.

Good guys who were able to spend their time very constructively at the University and take advantage of the perks of the employment to get an education.
