.. tracks what everyone else is doing. Maybe a lot of database type work to it ... using software to organize effort around identified needs

how much of scaring up appropriate recruits via contacts with coaches and/or gathering and reviewing quantitative data from reliable venues (e.g. unbiased numbers for the kids from camps, etc.) ???

of course, everyone gets a chance to sell the recruits on the school but not sure how much of that is done by whom

just working your ass off is no good though ... have to work your ass in a smart way that gets things done ...
