way Odom slings personnel on the defensive side.

But he appears hands off on offense and I can't reasonably expect that to change - Hype owns it.

And yet Zanders was never put in position to take a real crack at anything, despite horrible play by Lock.

Lock just isn't my guy. I never felt him. He's a strange mix of exotic talent, pouty kid, stuntman with a strong dose of 'expecting to lose' thrown in.

it's a heady cocktail that we all hope will start fizzing and popping soon.

But what if doesn't.

Just finished off a 4-8 season where the dang O-Line looked frickin great. Where the dang running backs looked frickin' great. And the quarterback looked the dang same to me.

I hope I have to eat crow on all of this big time, 'cause I don't see us getting a new QB.

And yet, Lock is Lock. Whatya gonna do...
