I didn't expect to see a jump of 6 positions either...

And not sure if the #12 spot will hold or not, with 4 of the last 5 matches coming against teams with pretty crappy RPIs. The Florida match will obviously be a big boost, even more if we win it.
I have a much better handle on the softball RPIs, and since they play about twice as many games as VB, it is a little easier to anticipate changes. What a lot of people don't understand about the RPI is it is more accurate the more games that are played, and the changes in ranking depend in large part on how closely bunched the RPI score is and how much variation there is from one position to another.
I think a national top 16 seed and a home regional still depends on us beating Florida and winning the SEC outright, as unfair as that may seem. There are still several teams below us in the RPI who will be seeded ahead of us, like Penn State.
My guess is if we win out, we will be seeded in the 13-16 range. And if we lose to Florida and finish 2nd in the SEC, we will be on the road against a team seeded in the 12-16 range. I know that sounds a bit pessimistic. This Mizzou team stumbled early, had no business losing at home even to Utah and Miami Ohio, and is improving every week now. It wouldn't shock me if, given the right seeding and placement, if they make the final 16 or even the final 8.
