For Tiger fans that remember him, was part of the Dooling/Gilbert class and was a huge signing when we landed him.
Here is an article when he declared for the draft:
Basketball's Travis Robinson To Enter NBA Draft
April 18, 2002
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - JU junior guard Travis Robinson (Gastonia, N.C.) will forgo his senior season with the Dolphins and make himself eligible for the 2002 NBA Draft. Robinson, who led the Dolphins in scoring last season with 14.0 points per game off the bench, is preparing to play with the Florida Sea Dragons in the United States Basketball League (USBL).
Robinson played in 24 games for JU in 2001-02 after becoming eligible six games into the season, hitting a team-best 69 three-pointers and being tabbed the second-best sixth man in the country by Stats, Inc. He finished the season ranked third in the Atlantic Sun Conference with 2.88 three-point field goals per game and shot a team-best 38 percent from outside the arc. Robinson's 188 three-point attempts ranks third all-time at JU for a single season, while his 69 treys rank seventh all-time for a single season.
Robinson played only one season at JU after transferring from Barton County (Kan.) Community College in the summer of 2001. Prior to attending Barton County, he played six games at Fresno State during the 1999-2000 season, where he led the Bulldogs in scoring with 14.9 points per game before leaving the team. Robinson played his high school ball at Mount Zion Christian Academy (N.C.) for coach Joel Hopkins.
