overall, I thought we played better than the score. We had a lot of good looks and just missed shots. They shot pretty well from 3 at times to keep it close. We had about a 5 minute spell in the 2nd half where it seemed like there were a lot of ticky-tacky fouls called, almost all in UCM's favor.
Hughes was very good - nice quick release from 3. Jackson and Nikko had some really good stretches, although Jackson seemed to lapse defensively late. Phillips didn't seem to go real hard defensively for large parts of the game - very controlled, but not real active. Walton was awful. Puryear couldn't buy a bucket. Mitchell Smith needs 30 lbs.
For all the stat watchers, CVL played a very good game. He was really solid defensively for the most part and ran the point for a long stretch and was not in the offensive play to get stats.
