one year NBA Lottery Pick rookie training camp that Calipari runs. It's very hard to compare eras especially in the case of UK because there was just nothing comparable to the Calipari model that has in my opinion sucked the life and enjoyment out of the college game today.

Don't get me wrong, there were teams with NBA starting fives back then too. Hell the 1990 national champ UNLV was one. But back then Larry Johnson, Stacey Augmon, Greg Anthony stayed til their senior year rather than the 1 and done rent a lottery pick thing UK does now.

And by the way, the ku team that Mizzou beats in that video had earlier in the year beaten that NBA star laden UNLV team. If one is to assume, then, that NBA lottery picks are better players as college juniors and seniors than they are as college freshmen, then by extension you can safely say that the Doug Smith/Anthony Peeler Mizzou team was playing at a higher level than the Calipari one and done freshman all star teams of today.
