there are lots of pieces at play. AND about six weeks.

Races tend to b e close or at least PORTRAYED as close. In polling, Obama had a tight 3 pt lead over Romney and then took it walking away.

I think that with the race tightening our friends and lovers on the Right suddenly think OMG we've got it.
