And btw it's not like we've never done it. But when the oline was as bad as it was last year, and when protection would break down, receivers are usually taught to head for the sidelines as the QB scrambles for his life. That way less of the field is exposed if he has to throw it out of bounds.

If fact I'll bet that's a technique GAT invented.
