Preseason predictions are a total crap shoot.
2014 Saturday Down South predicted Missouri would go 8-4...they went 11-3. In 2015, they predicted they would go 9-3...they went 5-7. Heck...every year, unless you are Bama or LSU...the best they will typically predict is 8 or 9 wins.
They predicted Mississippi State would go 6-6 last year, and they went 9-4. They make predictions to draw clicks (instead of on good insight)...and they know that Bama fans will click on anything that reinforces their bias.
