While I too am optimistic, there are still so many unknowns.

A Mizzou fan looks and knows that Drew Lock will be better - that last year he was forced to start after being on campus for, what, 6 weeks? You and I believe that he'll be more effective, but we don't know how much better.

Our o-line is almost brand new. You and I believe that they'll be more effective, despite the losses of personnel, but we don't really know yet. I tend to think that they will be better coached this year, but again, that's a guess.

Our skill players on offense will, I hope, be better, but there isn't a ton of production returning, so we don't really know. I believe that Ross and Black will make a difference, but again, there's no proof yet.

I guess I'm stating the obvious, but to say that it very well could be a blowout is a little aggressive for my tastes. I'm cautiously optimistic, but until they start playing, it's anybody's guess. All of the changes in scheme, roster, coaches, etc. certainly will make for an exciting team to watch, that much is sure.
