Alito, Thomas and Sotomayor will likely hit 70 in the next president's term of office.

Ginsberg, Kennedy and Breyer are all either 80 or will be very soon.

And don't forget that there is a current opening that is unlikely to be filled in the next six months.

Assuming the next president serves two terms, almost all do, I would say four nominations would be on the low side.

I was just basing this on current age that does not take into account sudden health or personal issues that may force a retirement.
