Bill Engvall when he was early in his career and doing a comedy gig there.
I worked there when they had bands upstairs but then changed it over to comedy night.
One song I remember getting play time every night was Billy Idol's "Mony Mony" and another song from Bananorama "Venus".
When my dad visited me at college and I took him to the Vu' he couldn't believe all the hot chicks hollering during Mony Mony like they did. He envied my situation.
