He is 60, so this is likely his last stop. So no doubt he wants to be at MU. You dont leave San Diego for MO at age 60 unless you are motivated. He was just awarded the AD of the year award, and best of all in my mind, he has been around "almost" big-time programs (WA St), but not quite as big as MU and the SEC. I am sure he sees this as a legacy position - he can leave his mark on a big time program in a big time conference. This is a very good hire.
