I think he clearly focused on the wrong things last offseason in terms of skill development, and tried to play through injury with very little effectiveness. Just a non-factor and wasted minutes most of the time he was on the court.

I still liken him to Leo Lyons, who was a similarly skilled and built forward and who also similarly looked absolutely lost through his 1st two years at MU but eventually blossomed into a very good college player. He really shouldn't have been in a position where we needed to rely on him at this point, but man was he underwhelming when we did rely on him.
