Not the expired or absent plate....or the obvious defective equipment like a burned out head light or brake light.
Or like the guy working in the Ag Bldg in 1980 driving a Volvo into work each day....with expired plates and no proof of insurance, and on a suspended DL.
He managed to catch the attention of every day shift officer because he stuck out like a sore thumb.
