6-5 Michigan team in the holiday bowl I think. It was not anything like a BCS national title.

That's worse than making their 1996, 14-0 team (who beat a solid Ksu) a national champion. They were the only unbeaten team remaining in 1996

As for 1984, not impressed

byu has won alot of games but they are not a true national power
