terrorists have carried out attacks on our soil and killed Americans abroad, I would say that ISIS is a US problem.

My guess, is that a big reason they didn't mention ISIS is that ISIS is largely a US creation & the Obama administration played a big role in its genesis... funding, training and arming them in their quest for "regime change" in multiple countries in the Middle East.

It's probably also a bit embarrassing to know that Russia did far more to cripple ISIS' military strength and land grab than the US had done as we still were relying on them to topple Syria's leader, Asad.
