1) He wants to spend less but make it more capable. He has said he wants to shut down foreign bases. I think he mostly aligns with you on this.

2) Trump has said states should set minimum wage, not fed.

3) Not expanding welfare is a win at this point but you are right. I think he has publicly stated taxpayer money shouldn't be used to provide welfare services to illegals. That is a good start.

4) At least he has a reason for this change. He knew very little about abortion procedures/fetus conditions. When he learned more, he changed his stance.
