It's such a simple tactic of the soulless worshippers of deceit.
Preach rhetorical principle while destroying that same rhetoric principle right in front of everyone's face. He says what they like to hear but achieve the hope & change that is not only what he wants, but is diametrically inconsistent & opposite of that.
That charade has been there since day one & it now looks so old & transparent, while he looks less & less effective/credible in pulling it off. In a nutshell, he doesn't even look like anyone could possible believe his outrageous bullsh*t anymore.
On the other hand, I think that same disbelief causes him to double down on the outrageousness of his disingenuous rhetoric.
