THE niece of French far-right leader Marine Le Pen has joined the military reserve and has urged "young patriots" to follow in her footsteps.
Marion Le Pen announced on Twitter she would join the French Army reserve after a spate of Islamic State-inspired terror attacks in Europe.
The 26-year-old also blasted the "ineffective" French army as the country reels from the murder of 84-year-old Father Jacques Hamel by two teenagers who said they were ISIS "soldiers".
The National Front MP Tweeted: "Due to the threat facing France, I have decided to join the military reserve.
