earth, the tv set, the media, puts extreme effort towards dividing people on every single issue?

Politics. Race. Gender. Sexual orientation. Sports teams.

Everything is branded on opposite ends of the spectrum and played on in ways that make the gap as big and as defined as possible, creating maximum hate and displeasure with the other side.

Don't you find that interesting? Is the collective controlled by this?
