either candidate from the conventions is likely to be small & short lived compared to times past.
The conventions are sooner & with the internet & social media the information & themes get out there far more quickly & the counter ads & attacks are far quicker.
FWIW, from my perspective the dig about "the less than HS educated Trump supporters" is ridiculous. Have you not seen the youtube videos of fake reporters interviewing Obama & Hillary supporters? Some of them are so absurd in their attempts and showing the most basic knowledge and understanding of politics or economics that they are funny.
I would say that even your own understanding of economics is dangerously twisted despite whatever degrees you might have.
