Try to look at the world from their point of view. The Islamic religion and their theology can vary from region to region , there are some common doctrines but interpretation can be different in each area dependent on their life experience. Christianity is not completely different a Baptist from New Hampshire is different than one from Alabama or from Missouri. After the Ottoman Empire was split up things started changing
