those disenchanted with typical politics love the messaging directly from Trump. No one's calling them incompenent. They called it outrageous and against tradition. That works with the disenchanted. Poor management and incompetence does not. The people he needs to persuade are fencesitters, not people who have already embraced him. they aren't going to look at charges of incompetence and react the same way.
