Pete didn't bet against his team. Some bookie could say he didn't, but you really don't know.
The smart ones (unlike our Porter) could easily take a game off once in a while, and then play hard AF on the other games.
Baseball is so easy to fix. Just swing and miss...chalk it up to a bad day at the plate, and then collect your payment.
I think if you are caught betting on your sport in anyway you should not get into the HOF. Bet on the horses, fottball, basketball, etc...literally any sport that you don't play and I am fine with that. You just can't bet on the sport you play...he did.
