He was the QC at Auburn for 2010-2011.

When I counter with "So the fact that he's been at Mizzou for more than twice as long as he was ever at Auburn means nothing?" usually falls on deaf ears. He was there with Chizik when Auburn won the 2010 national title.

Drinkwitz's roots are not deep. He was born in Norman, OK, but raised in Alma, AR. He attended Arkansas Tech University. He was an assistant at Alma HS for 1 year, OC at Springdale HS for 3 years, QB at Auburn for 2 years, RB/Co-OC at Arkansas State for 2 years, TE/QB/OC at Boise State for 2 years, OC/QB at NC State for 3 years, and HC at Appalachian State for 1 year.

This is his 5th year at Mizzou.

He's been here longer than he's been anywhere.

He could absolutely leave us for somewhere, but there's nowhere more "home" to him than Mizzou at this point.
