yes, he probably would have to take a job that is not as desirable as a blue blood position. Something like Georgia Tech, Virginia or VTech or Miss State.

Jeff Lebby was a P4 coordinator for 2 seasons and got an SEC head coaching position. it happens.

I also just looked at current coaches and not past coaches like Jedd Fisch or Lane Kiffin who were hired first time head coaches.
